LIBERAL ENDORSED CANDIDATES FOR THE BURWOOD COUNCIL ELECTION HIT THE GROUND RUNNING

The local Burwood Conference of the Liberal Parry is pleased to announce its four candidates for the September local government election.

Joe Tannous, President of the Burwood Local Government Conference and former Burwood Mayor, said on endorsement night:

“There could be no better group, these men and women will proudly represent the cultural diversity and volunteering qualities that is present here in Burwood”

Between the four Liberal candidates, there is over 50 years of community service from four different ethnic backgrounds – will bring diversity and transparency to a council that has forsaken the people that originally elected them.

The team will be led by John Sidoti, a former candidate for Lowe and successful business owner, having strong links to Burwood and the Inner West.

“Council is responsive to the changing needs of our community. My team and I are committed to creating a Council that is representative, accessible and responsive to the needs of residents and business owners. We are committed to involving the community in shaping the Council’s future” John Sidoti said.

“I am so proud to lead the candidates our party has endorsed. When you look at their life experiences, you see that they have grass root connections, genuine experience and representation of the local community” said John Sidoti
