MORE HIGH RISE = MORE CRIME

State Labor and Burwood Labor Councillors will build more than 7,700 new dwellings in Burwood. This will only further exacerbate the major problems in Burwood that Faker has left go to waste.

“If Councillor Wong thinks he is fighting crime, why is he part of a team that wants to build these dwellings that will only increase crime and gangs, by placing more pressure on our already congested road, train and bus systems?” states Henson Liang.

What John Sidoti and our team are fighting for is to ensure that planning decisions that affect us as locals are made locally in our hands.

“How Ernest Wong is asking support in the upcoming election is absurd after he claims that he has been working to build the infrastructure over the last four years – you only need to drive around to see our potholed roads, uneven footpaths and a drainage system that fails when it rains.” Henson Liang argues.

“Councillor Wong and the Labor dominated council are spending our money that we pay through our rates and taxes on advertising themselves(as if it was paidout of the Labor Party), consultants and building a new civic centre that will send our council broke by $8 million rather than spending it on real infrastructure.” Henson Liang

“I know I don’t want to read the Headline –Burwood Council sacked; another Labor controlled bites the dust.”

“As part of the Liberal team, I will bring financial stability and business experience to the council that will stop the wastage of residents’ money and ensure that council is still operating debt free for our children.”
